DHS

The next generation of distribution class hookstick switches. Our engineers have developed a modern switch that meets the needs for a versatile, light weight, reliable and economical method of distribution system isolation for utilities

The “DHS” is available in a 30 degrees inclined mounting position, with provision for surge arrester. In addition, the “DHS” can be cluster mounted for three phase applications on one bracket for quick install and compact configuration.

The “DHS” is rated to 900A current capacity, 40kA momentary current. The “DHS” switch can be used in the system for isolating or sectionalizing for applications 15kV to 35kV.

In-Line Disconnect switch

AIB

A single phase, hookstick operated disconnect switch designed for in-line suspended applications. The “AIB” mechanically supports the full tension of the distribution line and provides high voltage insulation when open.

When combined with a load break tool, it can be used to interrupt the full current load of the line on systems up to 34.5kV. A popular and economical solution to pole mounted switches, the “AIB” requires no additional support brackets and is ideally suited for armless construction.

MindCore’s “AIB” is the only switch on the market with a design where mechanical connections do not simultaneously carry current.

CIF

The “CIF” is developed to provide reliable overcurrent protection for primary distribution systems, safeguarding abnormal conditions such as line faults, line or equipment overloads, or equipment failure.

Created for in-line suspended applications the “CIF’s” mounting arrangement mechanically supports the full tension of the distribution line. A popular and economical solution to pole mounted switches, the “CIF” requires no additional support brackets and is ideally suited for armless construction.

When used in conjunction with a load break tool the “CIF” can be used to interrupt up to 200 without fuse blowing or arcing damage. The “CIF” may be used with any universal distribution fuse link.

By-Pass Hookstick switch

CBP

A compact, easily installed by-pass disconnect suitable for several applications. Ease of operation, safety of operating personnel, and its low cost are further advantages.

The CBP provides a quickly operable line sectionalizing point with air gap insulation at each recloser or regulator installation. Break distance across the open gap of the by-pass switch is “full value” as compared to the 10 percent value supplied on the conventional regulator by-pass switch.

No extra crossarms or special brackets are required for pole or crossarm mounting of the CBP.
